Personality:

Adventurous - While T'Challa was born to the son of a king, he always possessed the heart of an explorer. Even as a young prince, he had been dissatisfied living in the protective barrier of Wakanda, and longed to explore the world. So when he had accidentally been picked up by the Ravagers and offered the chance to see the universe, he was more than eager to travel along, and quickly became a part of the crew. He grew up traveling to different worlds from galaxy to galaxy, and even after the truth about his family and homeland is brought to light, he admits to feeling conflicted about where to be, as he feels quite at home among the stars.

Charismatic - While he is very skilled in combat, T'Challa knows that sometimes, the best weapon in one's arsenal is just a good argument. He knows that not everyone can be reasoned with, but he will always try to reach out to those who can, and to find peaceful solutions to problems if possible. His influence helped Yondu's clan of Ravagers change from bounty hunters who sold treasure to the highest bidder, to a Robin Hood-esque group that stole from the rich to give to the poor. His powers of persuasion are so good, in fact, that he was even able to convince Thanos, the Mad Titan, to give up his pursuit of the Infinity Stones and wipe out half of all living things, showing him that there were other ways to allocate the universe's resources. Thanos even stepped down from being a warlord and joined the Ravagers. Such accomplishments, as well as others where T'Challa was able to rescue worlds that were in trouble, were passed through the galaxy, leaving many who were not only grateful, but were impressed and admired the one known as Star-Lord.

Confident - T'Challa is a talented individual, and is very aware of that fact. While he can be quite modest regarding his exploits and the Star-Lord title being taken too literally, he is self-assured in his skills and his mission. He knows what he is capable of, and even in the face of walking into an obvious trap he is able to plan for future possibilities, as well as think on his feet in unexpected circumstances. This certainty also extends to the people he works with, as he is confident that even when he takes the first steps on his own, he knows without a doubt that the people he trusts are always behind him, ready to help when he needs them.

Compassionate - Above all else, T'Challa has a very kind heart. While he and the Ravagers are still thieves, and while he is not above fighting and using some violence to acquire his marks, T'Challa's main goal is to take from those with power and to give to those with none. After believing that his homeland had been destroyed and his family killed, he dedicated his time and efforts to save other worlds throughout the universe. He hates to see people suffering, and will do as much as he can to assist, even at a great risk to himself. Even knowing that there is darkness in the hearts of people, he does believe that people are able to change, and has complete trust in those who show that such change is possible, such as Thanos and the other Ravagers. He even tries to help people on a personal level, such as trying to help Thanos and Nebula work things out. Of course he is not perfect, and is just as capable of being annoyed by or upset with people. But deep down he believes that people are capable of being good, and will try to reach out to them if and when he can.

Suitability & Plans: For the most part, T'Challa is pretty flexible and is able to roll with the punches, and is used to assisting many different worlds. But while he often can work on his own, he's always had the Ravagers backing him up. So it would be interesting to see how he would fair on his own, as well as try to gain new CR and find people he can trust. He also tends not to linger in any one world, enjoying to travel amongst the stars, so I'm also eager to see how he will adapt to remaining in one place.

I also would like to explore how T'Challa would feel about the dreamotion abilities. Despite his skills, he is an ordinary human with no extraordinary powers. Since he's so used to fighting without powers, I want to explore how creative he can be now that he has access to having other abilities.
